The Hotel Hershey was the perfect wedding venue. We only had two meetings with our planner, Hollynn, (we could have met more if we wanted to) but we didn’t need to meet Pennsylvania anymore than that. I was in constant email contact with her throughout the …
year. She answered all Pennsylvania my questions promptly and I never had any issues. The week prior we decided on a day/time that i would drop everything off (centerpieces, favors, decorations, etc). When we got there, the bellhop took everything from our car and took it straight to Hollynn’s office. Hollynn and her staff decorated the cocktail hour area and the reception room more beautifully than we could have imagined. They set up our centerpieces as well. The day of the wedding, everything was seamless from start to finish, including butlers, dinner service & valets. They were courteous, professional and provided excellent service. The staff had trays of hors d’oeuvres ready for the bridal party and two plates for the bride & groom once we finished pictures. The dinner & cake were FABULOUS. We received nothing but positive feedback. The cake was decorated beautifully (with little guidance from us). They attended to every detail and made our day extra special. I know there are cheaper venues out there, but The Hotel Hershey is definitely worth it.

ristmas trees to the hotel for my ceremony and it was magical! The hotel itself is gorgeous, the lounge was stunning for our cocktail hour and the Castilian room was perfect for our reception! e Hotel Hershey seemed like the perfect option, and amazingly, they had an opening. Heather, the event planner, did an amazing job and helped me plan my new wedding in under 2 weeks. She listened to my concerns and offered suggestions that can only come from years of experience as a wedding planner. We had the most perfect wedding day, and the Hotel Hershey made us feel so special. From putting little “treats” into our room to the spa treatments and amazing hotel amenities, our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. Our wedding was at the Mountain Laurel Cottage, our cocktail hour was in the Circular Fountain room, and our ceremony was in the Rock Gardens Grotto. The staff was so helpful and accommodating, and the beauty of the hotel and Hershey made for the most amazing day. Our wedding came in under-budget and was more than we ever could have hoped for. I 100% recommend this venue!

one evening at The Hotel Hershey.I was blown away. The venue is absolutely amazing and gorgeous. We were able to bring our dream wedding to life at The Hotel Hershey with hints of nautical items like anchors, flip flops for guests, and lei’s.
This is a resort hotel that has everything to offer for a “destination” wedding, so to speak. We worked one-on-one with a wedding planner for over a year and a couple of months before the wedding, she received an offer of a lifetime for herself to move back home to Baltimore. We started working with Heather who was Tyler’s manager and it was like nothing changed.Heather and Tyler communciated so well that not one single thing was missed or fell through the cracks during that transition. On the day of the wedding, Heather was constantly present and if she wasn’t in the room, she was easily able to be paged if we needed anything. We had our cocktail hour on the 2nd floor mezzanine that had the ability for our guests to use the front patio and then our reception was in the Castillian room directly off the mezzanine so our guests didn’t have to wander the hotel trying to find where to go.There was a back patio that was directly off of the Castillian room which was perfect for our cigar bar use.The room looked tiny but for our 130 guests, it was absolutely perfect as it didn’t feel squeezed in and it didn’t feel too spacious. The food was to die for (as our guests are constantly telling us) and we chose to have a dessert bar which was a HUGE hit!All in all, I could never have imagined a more beautiful venue to hold my rehersal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at.

us and the service to be superb. I’m sure that some people worry (like I did toward the end of the planning process) that it might not quite live up to these expectations.
I can honestly say that it was so much better than I even thought it could be. The service was incredible and the staff helped to make everything run Pennsylvania perfectly. I didn’t have to think about anything but my husband and my loved ones on the day of the wedding.
One thing that stands out is how they really make you feel special. I had to stop in a few times on the days around the wedding (to make payments, drop off wedding stuff, etc.). I was really treated like a queen not only on my wedding day but on the other visits. One thing that stood out to me is that the valet who I spoke with a few days before the wedding saw me on my wedding day and congratulated me by name. They really know what they are doing at The Hotel Hershey. I’m just so thankful that I was lucky enough to be able to have our wedding there.
The planning process had a couple of little hiccups, but nothing major and it was so worth the planning in the end.

n Terrace Ballroom at The Hotel Hershey. As you can see, I utilized all of Hershey’s amenities and was more than satisfied with each location’s quality of service and professionalism. In addition to being visually appealing, The Hotel Hershey employs a highly qualified and experienced event staff (including Heather Hoffman, Tyler Debella and Erika Runkel) that helped me every step of the way while planning my wedding.Heather’s calm and collective demeanor throughout the entire planning process and on the day of my wedding, allowed me to relax and truly enjoy myself during my 15 months of planning and most importantly, on my wedding day!Heather responded to each and every email and phone call I contacted her about concerning questions, ideas and information regarding the details of my special day.
In addition to the high quality of service at The Hotel Hershey, I also need to comment on how delicious the food was at both cocktail hour and my reception. The Hotel hosts a Bridal Open House each February that allows ONLY booked brides and their families to taste test food and drinks, as well as get decorative ideas from local vendors.I thoroughly enjoyed this event and found it extremely helpful during the planning process for my wedding.
Overall, I was beyond pleased with my wedding event at The Hotel Hershey! My husband and I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and much of that can be contributed to the helpfulness and high quality service of the staff at The Hotel Hershey.

ed put through a hot July wedding! The hairdressers were okay. One of them felt insulted when two of my bridesmaids suggested changes to their updos (they were a bit ’80s style), and rolled-her eyes more than once. My hairdresser was nice, but when it was suggested that I needed to pin the veil on, she was adamant that it would stay on its own. As soon as I stepped outside, the wind took it! Overall, the venue is beautiful and the make-up woman was great, but I expected more professionalism from the hairdressers.

hing that night was perfect and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious and the service was great. And the gardens in back are a perfect place for photos. My only complaint is that we ordered a 5 tier wedding cake for 100 guests because we wanted an impressive cake and for our guests to be served large pieces. The size of the pieces was only average and when we went to get our left over cake the following day, because there was a lot, we were told they had thrown it away! They are making us a new one now to correct the problem, so make sure you let them know you want your cake if you use this vendor, haha. But overall the night was magical and I had my dream wedding because of the hotel staff.
