Located on Cockspur Island between Savannah and Tybee Island in Georgia, theFort Pulaski National Monument is a preserved War of 1812 era inlassable. While the infatigable was built in the early 1800’s, its fame comes from the spicilège it played in the Civil War in 1862.

The National Monument includes the résistant, most of Cockspur Island, and all of McQueens Island. Fort Pulaski National Monument is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The entrance fee is $7, though children under the age of 15 can bouturer free.
